Mark Schreiber, CPP, CPD
Mark Schreiber is a Security Engineer and Technical Consultant who has been in the industry for over 20 years. Mark is an ASIS International Certified Protection Professional (CPP), earned a CPTED designation (CPD), and has designed all forms of physical security systems across the globe, from door contacts to counter drone systems. Typical system designs are large campus, critical infrastructure systems that integrate complex access control, video surveillance, and perimeter intrusion systems for Fortune 500 clients. Through his experience and support of multiple ASIS Councils, Mark has presented at multiple ASIS Annual Seminars and ASIS trainings. In addition, Mark is an ASIS Community Vice President and Assistant Regional Vice President, past Council/Community Chairperson, past ASIS Chapter Chairperson, and volunteer leader of several ASIS Subject Area Communities.
Paul Mercer
Paul is the founder and Managing Director of HawkSight SRM Ltd, a UK-based Digital Enterprise Security Risk Management company and built the award-winning HawkSight Security Risk Management platform.
Paul served as a Royal Naval Aviator for 12 years flying in the anti-submarine warfare and search & rescue role. On leaving the navy, he worked as a specialist investigator with HMCE working against illegal drug importation into the UK.
Upon completing government-related service, Paul moved into security risk management operating in several complex environments in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia, supporting global business, major events and NGO operations.
Paul has a Masters’s Degree in International Politics from Glasgow University in Scotland and is a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP).
Rachelle Loyear
As Vice President, Integrated Security Solutions at Allied Universal, Rachelle Loyear leads the Allied Universal Enterprise Security Risk Management approach to customer program development. The Integrated Security function is dedicated to driving Allied Universal’s mission of helping customers find and deploy the right combination of security professionals, policies, processes and procedures, and cutting-edge technology and data tools to most effectively secure their organizations in a world of evolving risk.
Rachelle has spent over a decade managing programs in corporate security organizations. Focusing strongly on security risk management, she has been responsible for ensuring enterprise resilience in the face of many different types of risks, both physical and cyber. In 2016 she co-authored The Manager’s Guide to Enterprise Security Risk Management: Essentials of Risk-Based Security, in 2017, she released the book The Manager’s Guide to Simple, Strategic, Service-Oriented Business Continuity, and is a co-author of the 2018 book, Enterprise Security Risk Management: Concepts and Applications.
Rachelle is a member of the ASIS North American Board of Directors and ESRM Community Steering Committee. She serves on the Cybersecurity Advisory board for SIA, is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) through ISACA, a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) through DRI International, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Rene Rieder JR., PSP, CPP
Highly skilled security engineering professional with over a 25-year career-long record of strategic industry insight, stakeholder satisfaction, and security system development. Responsible for leading multiple disciplinary engineering teams for the development and implementation of holistic security strategies that include architecture, physical security, electronic security, policies and procedures. Projects range from studies and analysis to full design and is applied in different geographical locations for a variety of vertical markets. Rene holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University. He is both a Physical Security Professional and Certified Protection Professional with ASIS. Rene is currently a Certified Homeland Security Professional – Level IV and Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist. Rene is the current Education Chair for Security Architecture and Engineering Community (SAEC) as well as past Chair. The SAEC serves as a resource to ASIS members, other individuals, and agencies on security architecture, engineering, and technical integration design issues related to protection of assets within the built environment.
Richard Lavelle, AIA, PSP
Richard (Rick) Lavelle founded Creador Architecture after working for 30 years in the design & construction industry. His body of work covers the full spectrum of commercial work. With experience in Office Buildings, Retail Stores, Restaurants and secure asset facilities, he has worked with many corporate brands across the country. He has a degree in Architectural Technology and an honor graduate of the Navy’s Builder “A” School. After receiving his Professional Bachelors of Architecture Degree, he has actively pursued his passion for building and contributing to the diverse urban environment. He is a registered Architect in 19 states. He also has received his Certified Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and holds a Physical Security Professional (PSP) credential through ASIS International.
Rick has worked on a vast range of project types. Some include distribution centers, charter schools, daycare centers, assisted living and religious/cultural centers. He also has over 20 years of experience in Secure Asset Facilities (including cash rooms, vaults, coin operations, and armored transfer facilities).
Meredith Wilson
Meredith has over 20 years’ experience in intelligence, government, corporate and international environments. She started Emergent Risk International with the belief that, with the proper strategy and mindset, risk intelligence could add more than worry to an organization’s bottom line. As a former Defense Intelligence Officer as well as an oil and gas industry veteran – first building a risk intelligence function for ConocoPhillips and then for Kosmos Energy – Ms. Wilson has seen how intelligence can function well in both environments, but also how differently these functions operate within their organizations. With that knowledge and an extremely talented and adventurous team, since its founding in 2014, ERI has grown into a multi-national company with offices or representatives in the United States (Austin, Washington DC and greater Boston), the United Kingdom, Ireland, Singapore, Portugal, India, Mexico, Uruguay and South Africa; serving some of the world’s most valuable brands.
Brady Roberts
Brady Roberts is the Chief Operating Officer at ERI, leveraging his over 20 years of experience in the intelligence field. Prior to entering the private sector in 2015, Mr. Roberts spent 16 years with the Central Intelligence Agency, primarily as an Operations Officer serving overseas.
Mads Paerregaard
Mads Paerregaard is an experienced security risk management professional who after a career as an army officer worked as a Regional Security Advisor with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed by senior security and c-suite level positions in the private sector. Mads founded Human Risks in 2016 – a digital risk management platform that supports each step of the ESRM process. Mads is a graduate from the Royal Danish Military Academy and has an master´s degree in business administration from Henley Business School.
Josh Jackson
Josh Jackson is a proven security leader with a focus on technology tied to mitigating risk. He started his security career as a practitioner on the integration side. As an early adopter in the digital transformation of physical security he moved into the manufacturer side of the industry and has a passion for innovative solutions. While working for Schneider Electric, Josh spent a few years supporting Global Solution and moved to Paris France on assignment to lead the efforts building out their Security Center of Excellence. In this role Josh gained insight into building management and operations and saw the opportunity for digital transformation beyond just video and specifically around site management. Once back in the states, he joined STANLEY Security as the Director of Global Product integration, his next step was to join RightCrowd, one of the first PIAM providers and after 5 years he was recruited to a Silicon Valley startup focusing on facial authentication and frictionless access control space. With additional experience in the SaaS solutions world, he was most recently recruited to join Vicon focused on their new Cloud offering.
Dennis Shepp, MBA, CPP, PCI
Dennis Shepp has over 44-years experience in North America and the Middle East as a security management practitioner. He worked with Saudi Arabia’s national energy company, Saudi Aramco, as a corporate security advisor for projects in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, KSA. He currently has his own consulting firm, Dennis Shepp Professional Development Inc.
Dennis was a faculty member at the University of Calgary, University of Alberta and CNA-Q college in Doha, Qatar, instructing security management and investigations certificate courses.
Dennis remains a faculty member and advisor for ASIS International, facilitating online, virtual CPP study groups. Dennis has his MBA (Master Business Administration) from Royal Roads University, is a Life ASIS Member, CPP®; PCI® and CFE (Ret).
Lee Neutzling, PSP
Lee Neutzling currently holds the position as the Security Program Manager for AWS. He currently is responsible for a variety of tasks including; physical security, security officer management, investigations, and asset protection. Lee has been responsible for global physical security and loss prevention operations and investigations, along with executive protection responsibilities. He has managed multi-million-dollar contract security service contracts and numerous physical security projects and installations. He also serves as a Deputy Chief Security Officer (CSO) through American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) CSO Roundtable.
In the fall of 2008, Lee graduated from the FBI’s Citizen Academy; which teaches community leaders more about the FBI and how the private sector can work with the FBI to help fight crime. Lee has attended several training sessions conducted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that ranges from conducting risk assessments to bombing incidents. In August of 2010, Lee received his Physical Security Professional (PSP®) certification through ASIS. This designation is for those whose primary responsibility is to conduct threat surveys, design integrated security systems that include equipment, procedures and people, or install, operate and maintain those systems. In 2011, Lee joined the Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary and currently holds the rank of Major. Auxiliaries assist Troopers in a variety of tasks and events which include: patrol duties, OVI checkpoints, criminal patrol, assisting with large public events such as the Ohio State Fair and numerous Ohio State University functions such as football games natural disasters. In 2012, he earned his Masters of Arts Degree in Security Management from American Military University. Since earning his Master of Arts, he continues to learn more about security by attending training sessions conducted either by Federal, State, or local law enforcement and/or private sector. Some of these training sessions include conducting interviews and interrogations, conducting threat and vulnerability assessments, incident response to terrorist bombings, active shooter and directive threat training, and others.He participates in several other security and community organizations; these include American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) where he served as a past board member, the FBI Citizens Academy, InfraGard which is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector for information sharing, and Financial Institutes Security Organization (FISO). Lee also served as a board member for the Canton Domestic Violence Project Inc. and committee member of his local Boy Scout Troop. He enjoys running and has completed several 50k Ultras.
Kevin T. Doss, MS, CPP, PSP
Kevin T. Doss, MS, CPP, PSP has over 33 years of experience providing protective services in high-risk environments across the globe. As a consultant, Mr. Doss has worked with the US Naval Special Warfare Development Group, the United States Special Operation Command, the US Department of Homeland Security, and the United States Secret Service, along with many other federal and state agencies. His experience includes performing a Threat, Vulnerability Risk Assessment of the entire 51-mile Canal Zone in Panama as well as a security assignment involving the World Trade Center complex in New York City. Kevin provides expert advice and instruction on security matters involving the protection of critical infrastructure, regulatory compliance, risk management, physical security and workplace violence.
Kevin’s educational credentials include a Master’s of Science Degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester, UK, and two ASIS board certifications: Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
Mr. Doss is the ASIS International (ASIS) PSP Board Certification Advisor and the lead instructor. He is also an adjunct ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Board Certification Advisor and instructor. Kevin has written and published multiple chapters on security related topics and is co-author of the book titled, ‘Active Shooter: Preparing for and Responding To A Growing Threat (2015)’. He also is the author of the Physical Security Professional (PSP) Study Guide, 2nd Edition (2011) and the Physical Security Professional (PSP) Study Guide, 3rd Edition (2019).
In addition to his work-related and educational contributions, Kevin also volunteers his time as the Mentoring Director for the Yokefellowship Prison Ministry, which focuses on being an integral part of a returning citizens personal development after their release back into society.
Jamie Ridenhour, CPP
Broad knowledge base developed over 12 years of steadily growing scope and responsibility within DSI Security Services. Currently serving as Director of Quality Assurance for DSI Security Services.
My core responsibility is to champion quality in everything we do across our footprint to better serve our employees, clients, and the overall security industry community.
In this role I also manage several online platforms and programs as well as administrate our awesome online learning platform Superior Service Online Academy.
During my career with DSI I have held positions including payroll and scheduling coordination, Operations Management, Branch Management, National Training and Compliance Manager, and now Director of Quality Assurance.
I have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge base in Assessments, Security Program Implementation, Human Resource Management, Security Management, Facility Management, Business Operations, Corporate Security, Risk Management, and Crisis Mitigation and Response.
Personal. My amazing wife of 12 years and I have three dogs we love very much and a very loving tight-knit family including numerous siblings. We spend our free time reading, enjoying movies, and time with friends and relatives.

Kieran O’Leary
Kieran joined ERI in March 2020 and serves as the company’s Director of Intelligence Analysis, overseeing the daily production of subscription and bespoke intelligence analysis products by his globally dispersed team of analysts. Kieran also engages and consults with clients and is a sought-after analysis trainer. Prior to joining ERI, Kieran worked in foreign policy, defense strategy and intelligence for the Australian government, focusing on the Indo-Pacific region, the South Pacific and the Australia-US alliance, including postings to the Australian Embassy in Jakarta and US Indo-Pacific Command Headquarters in Hawaii. Kieran has Master’s degrees in International Relations and Defense Strategy, the latter from the Indonesian Defense University, where he was the first foreign student to graduate as valedictorian from an Indonesian military school.

Tim McCreight is the CEO and founder of TaleCraft Security Inc. He brings over 40 years of experience in both the physical and cybersecurity realm and is recognized globally as one of the leading Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) evangelists.
Tim is the Past President (2023) for ASIS International, a regular columnist for Canadian Security Magazine, and co-hosts a podcast on ESRM called “Caffeinated Risk”.
